Books & Blooms Flower Show

About Books & Blooms

Books & Blooms Flower, began in 2025 as a joint fundraiser between the Friends of Richards Memorial Library (FRML) and the Paxton Garden Club (PMAGC) featuring floral arrangements that draw inspiration from literary works, flowers & plants, styles, themes and designs.

The purpose of the Books & Blooms Flower Show is threefold: to raise vital funds to support two of Paxton’s organizations: Richards Memorial Library and The Paxton MA Garden Club, to showcase members’ creativity and provide a unique cultural experience for the community to enjoy.

The purpose of the Friends of Richards Memorial Library (FRML) is to promote knowledge, stimulate interest and encourage participation in the functions, resources, services and needs of the library; to provide a program of assistance through volunteer help and fundraising that will enable the library to improve and expand its resources and services.

The purpose of the Paxton MA Garden Club (PMAGC) is to to promote the love and learning of all things gardening in and around Paxton, MA 01612. PMAGC accomplishes this mission through community service to the Town of Paxton by maintaining the flower gardens & planters at various municipal locations in town; offering free public lectures on a variety of horticultural topics, and providing an educational grant to organizations with educational, conservation, and beautification projects that use horticulture and gardening to engage our youth.
