PMAGC Educator Grant
PMAGC is pleased to offer and award an educational grant to organizations with educational, conservation, and beautification projects that use horticulture and gardening to engage our youth.
Educational projects include those that use plants for food, conservation, landscaping, and attracting wildlife. Among conservation projects are protecting native plants and stormwater management. Beautification projects create new and restored gardens, as well as add trees, shrubs, and flowers to particular areas. Grant funds may be used for planting materials, soil additions or enhancements, and irrigation systems. Projects must be completed in 9 months and take place within the town of Paxton, MA.
Eligibility: Applicants will be Public, (including homeschool), Richards Memorial Library and Other 501(c)(3) organizations serving the town of Paxton, MA.
Award(s): Awards of up to $500
Deadlines: Applications are accepted January 1 through June 30, annually
Grade Levels: Grades 1-8
